Summer Student: Amena Akter

This summer, student Amena Akter worked in the Reilly lab through the High School Catalyst and Bioforce Programs. Her project was dedicated to investigating the upstream kinases responsible for activation of lipid-droplet STAT3. Her research and poster presentation earned her first place at the Catalyst final presentation event.

Amena Akter also presented her work at the NYCSRM Consortium on August 10, hosted at the American Museum of Natural History.
